Starting an alliance
There is a lot that goes into forming a local community. It’s not something that can be done overnight and it’s not something that any single person can accomplish. The picture of success will vary from one community to the next. However, there are a few principles we can adhere to to start off on the right foot.
- Every alliance has it’s own server and owns its own data. This is important to foster trust among participating members.
- A minimum of 5 producer level members. You can’t start alone. An alliance needs a few dedicated members to function.
- Geographical epicenter. Each alliance serves a real locale. This isn’t just an online community. Everyone should be within driving distance.
- Formalized administrators. The server and it’s data is owned by an administrator. Rather than hiding behind a bureaucracy, the administrator is highly visible. A good administrator becomes a pillar of the community. He views his role as his duty towards his neighbors.
If you are ready to start an alliance, purchase an Executive membership. Soon after purchasing, we will reach out and schedule a video consultation where we will go into more depth about how to best set you up for success.
